Best organic food restaurants?

Thinking back… Struggling to pinpoint food places that serve organic fruit/veg and hormone/antibiotic free meat. Recently went to Veggiology and was blown away by the taste and feel of the ingredients. Thinking back to my grandmother's farm in Ukraine, it made my realize just how delicious and healthy food farmed without mass production techniques is. Desperate to enjoy more of that now that the body is starting to ache a little more ahah. Suggestions?

If you liked Veggiology, you'd probably get along with Broccoli Revolution near Thong Lo. They do a killer Buddha bowl with quinoa and locally sourced vegetables, and their cold-pressed juices are a cut above most places in the city. For meat that's actually clean, head over to Rustic & Blue on Ekkamai -- they source their chicken and beef from a farm up in Kanchanaburi, no hormones or antibiotics involved. The prices are a bit higher than your average spot, but the difference in taste is night and day compared to what you'd get at a chain.

another spot that flies under the radar is farm to table on sukhumvit 49, they run their own little garden out back and the menu changes based on what's actually ripe that week. the grilled pork collar with tamarind glaze is probably the best thing there, and they can tell you exactly which farm the pig came from if you ask.

for something more casual, organic supply co in ekkamai has a decent selection of raw stuff and prepped meals, plus they stock local free-range eggs and grass-fed beef that's not easy to find elsewhere. it's more of a shop than a restaurant but they do a solid lunch plate with rotating veggies

rasa on sathorn is worth checking out. they do their own fermentation and source from small farms outside the city, the kimchi pancake and the mushroom bowl are both unreal. for meat, try 100 mahaseth in charoen krung, they're all about local heritage breed pork and beef from ethical farms, no hormones, and they cook it simply so you actually taste the quality

best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
