Does MRT not have day pass anymore?

Landed in Bangkok today. Asked about 1 day or 3 day pass at 2 station counters at Petchaburi and Asok. Agent says they don't have them.

The MRT stopped selling those passes around 2020 and never brought them back. Your best bet is a Rabbit card if you're using BTS too, but for MRT only you can just use a credit card with contactless payment at the gate. It's the same fare and you don't need to queue for a ticket.

honestly just use your phone for the mrt now, most gates accept visa/mastercard tap. saves you the hassle of queuing for single tickets every time. the rabbit card is better if you're bouncing between bts and mrt though, especially around siam or asok where you gotta switch lines

yeah they stopped those a while back, i think during covid. just get a rabbit card if you're gonna be here a few days, works on bts too

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
