honestly for under 300 baht your best bet is the Mookata style buffets. there's a solid one on Soi 42 near On Nut BTS called Mookata 42, 259 baht per person includes unlimited pork, seafood, and veggies. the broth is free too so you get hotpot and grill in one. just go early around 5pm cause it gets packed with students

another option is the Shabu buffet at MK Gold in CentralWorld, they have a lunch set for 299 baht that includes unlimited pork and veggies, but the broth is extra small so not the same as a full buffet. still decent for the price tho

you could check out the lunch buffet at A-One in China Town, 269 baht for dim sum and some chinese dishes. not the biggest selection but the quality is decent for the price

try the seafood buffet at Khlong Toei market area, there's a place called Siam Seafood that does 250 baht for grilled prawns and squid. it's not fancy but the food's fresh and you get good bang for your buck

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
