Both replies are right about the early morning cart scene. If you want a proper sit-down spot with actual tables, try Jok Prince on Charoen Krung Road near Soi 29. They're known for their rice congee but the dim sum selection is solid and they open at 6am. Gets busy with locals who've been going there for decades, and you'll pay maybe 80-100 baht for a good spread.

Honestly just head to Yaowarat Road around 7-8am, tons of places pop up with carts. I always stop at the spot near the old Odeon Circle, not sure the name but it's got steamers out front and the pork buns are killer. Grab some cha yen too while you wait.

yeah theres a spot on trok mai chai (its a small alley off yaowarat) that does killer dim sum, they got these shrimp har gow that are super fresh. gets packed fast though so go early like 6am if u want a seat

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
