Best place to buy (Thai) Pokemon cards in Bangkok?
There's a small card shop on the 4th floor of Terminal 21 called TCG Studio, tucked near the escalators by the San Francisco zone. They usually have Thai booster boxes in stock, but their prices are a bit higher than what you'd find at JJ Mall or the weekend market. For better deals, take the BTS from Asok to Mo Chit and walk over to JJ Mall on a weekday morning, it's much quieter than the weekend chaos and the vendors are more willing to negotiate.
fwiw, if your friend is looking for rare or older Thai Pokemon cards they should prob check out the Rot Fai night market, it's a bit farther from Terminal 21 but they can take a taxi from the Rama 4 road, it's around 100 baht. some vendors at Rot Fai have a pretty wide selection of cards, including some harder to find ones, and they're usually open till around 10 or 11 pm, which is later than most of the card shops in the malls.
honestly the best selection for Thai Pokemon cards is at Mega Plaza Saphan Lek, it's like a 15 min taxi from Terminal 21 or you can take the MRT from Sukhumvit to Sam Yot. the whole 4th floor is basically toy and card shops, I've seen Thai booster boxes there for way less than the touristy spots. just heads up most places are cash only and they close pretty early around 6-7pm

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
