Does anyone have any experience with shipping pets to America from Bangkok?

My kids have a few sugar gliders they got in Thailand and we want to ship them to America.

We don't have any documentation to go along with them.

How about a shipper you can recommend for us?

You might have better luck checking with the USDA-accredited vets in Bangkok who handle export health certificates. They usually know which shipping agents are legit for unusual pets, even without paperwork. Try the Animal Quarantine Station at Suvarnabhumi, they can point you to someone who specializes in exotic animals.

honestly sugar gliders are super specific and most pet shippers won't touch them without papers. i'd ask around at the Chatuchak pet market weekend traders, they prob know some backchannel guys.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
