Hey everyone!

I'm looking for a place in Bangkok where I can find some retro soccer jerseys. I'm after classic designs from older seasons or iconic teams. I'd love to check out any local shops or markets that might have them. Any recommendations for places to look, or specific markets/stores I should visit? Also, if anyone knows about any online shops or sellers based in Bangkok, that would be awesome too!

Thanks in advance for your help! :)

I'd add MBK Center to the list, fourth floor near the escalators. There's a small shop called "Football Fever" that carries a rotating selection of retro jerseys, mostly European clubs from the 80s and 90s. They're not as cheap as Chatuchak, usually 600-800 baht, but the condition is more consistent.

If you're into browsing, the weekend stalls along Ratchadamnoen Klang Road near the Democracy Monument sometimes have older Thai league jerseys mixed in with the random secondhand clothes. You can find some real obscure stuff there for 100-200 baht if you're patient.

For online, the Facebook group "Bangkok Jersey Marketplace" has a dedicated retro thread where collectors sell stuff directly. Prices vary but you avoid the middleman markup.

Check the vintage section on the second floor of Siam Square Soi 2. There's a tiny shop called "Uncle Ball's" that's been around since the 90s, mostly hidden behind a phone repair stall. The old guy who runs it has a bunch of Serie A and Bundesliga jerseys from the late 80s and early 90s, some still with the original sponsor patches. His prices are negotiable if you buy more than one.

For a more curated selection, hit up the "Bangkok Retro Sport" booth at the Patpong Night Market on Saturdays. It's near the Soi 2 entrance, and the owner sources directly from Japan. You'll pay closer to 1000-1500 baht but the jerseys are usually in near-mint condition with tags still attached.

If you're on a budget, the thrift shops around Bang Rak have been getting random European club kits lately. The one on Charoen Krung Soi 47 had a stack of early 2000s Barcelona jerseys for 250 baht each last week. Just check for stains in the armpits before you buy.

honestly the best spot for retro soccer jerseys is Chatuchak weekend market. there's a whole section near the back where like 5-6 stalls are stacked with vintage kits from the 90s and early 2000s. i found a 1998 Brazil Ronaldo jersey there for like 400 baht once, just gotta dig through the piles

if you don't wanna wait for the weekend, hit up Platinum Fashion Mall. third floor has a few shops that specialize in retro sportswear, though they're a bit pricier than the market. still cheaper than buying online imo

for online stuff, check out @retrokitbkk on IG. they're based in Ekkamai and do meetups or delivery. prices are fair and they actually verify the quality unlike some random Lazada sellers

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
