ngl the auto-mod situation is a pain but r/Bangkok has a weekly "where to meet people" thread that flies under the radar. if you frame it as "socializing" or "making friends" instead of dating it usually stays up. also if you're on facebook, the "Bangkok Expats" group is way more lenient and you'll get actual local responses vs global reddit noise

Oh yeah the auto-mod on r/Thailand is brutal, it nukes everything dating related. You could try r/Bangkok, sometimes dating advice posts slide through if you phrase it super casually like "where do people meet in BKK" vs outright saying dating.

Yeah the main Thailand subs don't allow dating posts at all. Try r/BangkokDating or r/ThaiDating, those are the specific ones for this.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
