I live in Huai Kwang and my flight out of Bangkok is at 9:30 am. Suggestions?

I like to arrive at least two hours early. I'm thinking I wake up at 5 am and book a grab, but not sure they're always available this early in the morning?

If anyone can confirm that'd be great. than…

Another thing to consider is traffic at that hour. It's usually light, but there's construction on the Ratchadaphisek intersection near Huai Khwang that can slow things down if you hit it wrong. I'd book Grab around 5:15 to be safe, and check if the driver's route avoids that area. The airport rail link starts running around 6, but that's cutting it too close for a 9:30 flight.

You'll be fine with Grab at 5am in Huai Khwang, that area is busy enough. One thing to keep in mind is which airport you're heading to. If it's Don Mueang you're looking at maybe 20-30 minutes that time of morning, but Suvarnabhumi is more like 40-50 minutes depending on how the expressway ramps are flowing. I'd say book it at 5:15 instead of 5 to give yourself a little buffer, the app usually finds someone within a couple minutes there.

yeah grabb is totally fine at 5am in huai khwang, tons of drivers around that area 24/7 honestly. just give yourself like 15 mins to wait and you'll be golden.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
