Hey everyone. I am coming to Bangkok for a couple of months as a test run and will be in the Asok area (as a general point of reference). honestly the best work spot in asok is just the lobby of the sheraton grande sukhumvit. grab a seat in the corner near the back, buy one coffee from the cafe and they won't bother u for hours. wifi is fast and it's way less crowded than any coworking space around terminal 21. plus if u get hungry the food court in the basement of terminal 21 is right across the street and has cheap thai food for like 50 baht

For the Asok area, I'd actually point you to the public library at Sukhumvit Soi 61, about a 10-minute walk from Ekkamai BTS. It's called the Bangkok City Library and it's free to use, just bring your passport to register. It's quieter than most cafes and has solid WiFi, plus a decent cafe downstairs if you need a coffee break. I've found it's a good spot when the usual coffee shop noise gets old.

the coffee shop at the top of the emquartier mall is solid for working, called the larder. take the bts to phrom phong, it's one stop from asok. they've got big tables, outlets everywhere, and the view over the city is nice. wifi is fine and it's usually not packed on weekday mornings, just avoid lunch rush

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
