6-Month Wifi Options? Any Ideas?

I just moved into a condo in the city, and I'm stuck without internet.
When looking for a unit, I asked every agent what provider was available for their building. Since I'm only here for 6 months, I thought I'd go with True, since they (supposedly) offer a 6mo plan.
I narrowed down the condos and made a decision. Imagine my surprise when, 60 seconds after handing over key cards and funds, the agent tells me she "double checked," and my new home is AIS only.
Anyone have any idea of what I can do? My cell doesn't have a big enough data package to tether, and the signal isn't great either. I also reached out to local provider Happy home (heard about them here), and they can't offer service.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
You might want to check if your condo has a fiber-ready port before you commit to anything. Some buildings in the city, especially older ones near Sukhumvit, need a technician to run a new line, which can add a week to the setup time. AIS usually handles that pretty fast, but I've seen cases where the management office drags their feet on approving the install.
If you're really stuck in the meantime, grab a pocket wifi device from a shop in MBK. You can get an unlocked one for around 1,500 baht and just pop in a prepaid AIS sim with a data-only package. It's not as fast as fiber, but it'll keep you online while you wait for the installation.
honestly just go with ais. their 6 month plan is called ais fiber speedy and it's like 799 baht a month for 500mbps. you can sign up online or at any ais shop, they usually install within 48 hours. the contract is month to month after the 6 months so you're not locked in.
if you really dont want a contract there's also 3bb but their 6 month option is a bit more expensive at 999 baht. i'd stick with ais since your building is already wired for it, saves you the headache of dealing with True's nonsense. just walk into the ais shop at centralworld or siam paragon with your condo documents and theyll sort you out same day usually.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
