How does the apartment numbering work?

I was staying in an apartment for a while and it was on the 12th floor unit 12/250. I thought 250 is a bit high for an apartment number but whatever. I thought 250 is a bit high for an apartment number but whatever. I once exited on the 9th floor and they were also 12/xxx??? Now I'm in a new apartment 5th floor and the number is 90/33? Is 90 the building number or something?

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
