Do I need to pay any fees at the airport with cash?

I have quite some cash left and my plan is to exchange it for Euros at the SuperRich or HappyRich money exchanges (Google says they are open till 11:30 PM, I hope that's correct!?) at the entrance part of the airport as they have thr best rates. So I will be left without any Baht. My question is if I will need any cash after this point inside the airport or can I pay everything with card? Sometimes there are some unplanned unusual fees (international airport fee, foreigner fee, passthrough fee etc.) at airports in Asia that can be paid with cash only. That's why I'm asking. Thanks

nah you're good, no weird cash-only fees at Suvarnabhumi. the departure tax is already included in your ticket price so that's covered. after security you can pay with card at pretty much every shop and restaurant, even the 7-Eleven. only thing i'd keep a tiny bit of baht for is if you wanna grab a snack or drink from one of the random street food stalls outside the terminals before you check in, but you said you'll be there late so those prob won't be around anyway. SuperRich hours are usually accurate but sometimes they close a bit early if it's quiet, so don't bank on exchanging literally at 11:30.

yeah no weird cash-only fees at Suvarnabhumi, you're fine. the departure tax is baked into your ticket so nothing to worry about there. after security most places take card, even the little coffee stands. only thing is if you want a bottle of water or something from one of those random vending machines near the gates, some of them are cash only but honestly you can just use card at the 7-Eleven inside for that. SuperRich hours are usually right but the one at the airport entrance can get busy, so if you're aiming for 11:30pm you might be cutting it close. fwiw i'd keep like 100 baht just in case you want a snack from the carts near the check-in counters, they're cash only and open late sometimes

You should be fine, there's no random cash-only fee at Suvarnabhumi. The only thing I'd mention is that if you take the airport train or a taxi from the city, you might need a bit of cash for that, but since you're leaving from the airport itself, you're good. Everything after security takes card, even the Boots pharmacy. I'd just keep like 50 baht for a luggage cart if you end up needing one, they take coins.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
