Sour beer in Bangkok?

I know there's a Mikkeller, and I have Finger Heart Bottle Shop on my to-go list. I'm staying in the Sathorn area. Thanks!

Mikkeller's taproom on Sukhumvit 26 is worth the detour from Sathorn, but it's not the only game in town. If you're already heading to Finger Heart, walk over to TALann on Sukhumvit 33/1, they've got a rotating selection of local sours and the space is great for reading or people-watching alone. For something closer to your area, the bar at the Sathorn Soi 12 branch of Bella Napoli usually has one or two Sandport sours on tap and their pizza is legit if you get hungry.

Hair of the Dog in Thonglor does a decent rotating sour selection, not always on the menu but worth asking. Also check out Let the Dog Eat on Soi 49, they sometimes have tart farmhouse ales from local breweries like Sandport or East Coast. For something closer to Sathorn, Tropic City on Charoen Krung has a few funky sours on tap and the vibe is chill for solo drinking. Finger Heart is solid btw, they usually have a good range of imported lambics if that's your thing

wisehause on sukhumvit 33 is worth the trip from sathorn, they always have a couple of tart options on their 20 taps and the owner's a fan of belgian lambics so you'll find cantillon or 3 fonteinen if you're lucky. closer to you, the bar at bella napoli on sathorn soi 12 does a rotating sour from a local brewery called sandport that's pretty solid, plus their pizza is good for a solo dinner. if you're willing to go a bit further, haoma's bar on naradhiwat has a wild ale they make in-house that changes seasonally, very different from the usual craft spots

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
