Now, I looked it up online and see some places selling it for 3000THB. Other places around 5000THB.

The watch is G Shock GM10

nah you're fine, Central World is legit for G-Shocks. the GM10 is a weird model though, it's not one of the standard squares or the popular ones so pricing is all over the place online. those 3000 baht ones are prob gray market or old stock from Japan. 7500 is normal for a mall with a proper warranty and receipt, you'd pay similar at Siam Paragon or Mega Bangna.

next time check the Casio shop at Terminal 21 or the G-Shock store at Siam Square, they sometimes have better deals on the less hyped models. but you didn't get scammed, you just paid the Central World tax for convenience.

honestly 7500 for a GM10 at Central World is about right. that model is kinda weird because it's a metal bezel on a resin case so it looks premium but isn't really. the 3000 baht ones are probably the japanese domestic market version without international warranty or the fake ones from MBK.

next time check the G-Shock store at Siam Square soi 2, they have a clearance shelf in the back with last year's models. also if you're near Asoke the Casio shop at Terminal 21 has better prices than Central World on most stuff. you paid a bit more for the mall convenience and the aircon, not a scam just a premium.

yeah 7500 sounds steep but it's not a scam. central world always marks stuff up like crazy, that's just how it works there. the gm10 is one of those models that fluctuates a lot in price depending on the colorway and where you get it, the 3000 baht ones are probably the basic black or white from dodgy shops.

next time hit up the Casio store at MBK Center, they got a big selection and you can haggle a bit if you pay cash. or check the G-Shock booth at Chatuchak market on weekends

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
