Tried contacting a few piano centers but they only sell new ones. The one I have isn't from a retailer (bought from FB Marketplace) and the power outlet part might have been busted.

Any tips/contacts that helps fixes electric pianos would be much appreciated! 😊

try the bangkok synth repair group on facebook, search "ซ่อมซินธ์" they have a few guys who do house calls for like 1200 baht and they bring their own gear. but honestly before u pay anyone, test the power supply with a cheap multimeter from homepro, those marketplace deals often come with a mismatched adapter and the jack is fine. if u're near pinklao there's a small shop on charan sanitwong soi 40, no english sign but they do circuit repairs for amps and keyboards, old guy named lung somchai, fixed a korg for me in a day for 700 baht. bring the model number written down, he doesnt speak much english. also check if the fuse inside is blown first, that's a 20 baht fix u can do urself with a screwdriver.

The power supply check is the right first move, but since you mentioned the outlet part specifically, it's likely the jack itself has come loose from the circuit board. That's a solder joint issue that any decent electronics shop can fix, but the tricky part is finding one that won't treat a keyboard like a toaster.

One spot that doesn't get mentioned much is the repair counter on the 4th floor of Amarin Plaza, near Chit Lom BTS. It's a tiny booth behind the computer accessories section, the guy mostly does laptops but he's fixed two keyboards for me, a Roland and a Korg, for around 600 to 800 baht each. He's quick, usually same day if you drop it off before noon.

Also, if you're willing to take a trip, the Pantip Plaza branch on Ngamwongwan has a few shops that handle musical gear repairs, more than the Rama 9 one. Walk to the back of the 3rd floor, there's a shop called something like "Sound Service" with a yellow sign, they're old school and will test the whole power circuit, not just the jack. Just bring the original adapter if you have it, and if not, write down the voltage and current specs from the back of the keyboard. That saves a lot of back and forth.

honestly the power jack issue is pretty common, any electronics repair shop that does soldering can handle it. check fortune town on rama 9, the IT mall has a few small repair booths on the upper floors that fix keyboards and synths, they'll prob charge like 500-1000 baht for a new jack. if that fails, bang rak has some audio repair guys near the river, but theyre more for vintage gear, might take a week. also try the piano tuners on facebook groups, sometimes they know a guy. just bring the model number and the power supply with u, most issues are just a loose connection inside.

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
