Companies that sell Gurkha Pants?

Hi all, looking to upgrade my wardrobe and was told that Bangkok is a go-to for quality pants at very good prices. I was wondering if anybody knew of any companies that sell gurkha pants. Thanks! if you're after the real military-style gurkha pants with that double buckle waist, check out a store called "the lost soul" on sukhumvit soi 33/1. they do reproductions of old military gear, pretty solid quality for around 1500 baht. also worth hitting up the vintage shops around ari, specifically "rosewood vintage" they sometimes get old stock indian army surplus that fits the bill. for a more modern take, the brand "issue" at siam discovery has a tapered version that's popular with the office crowd, runs about 2000 baht

honestly haven't seen many dedicated gurkha pants brands around bangkok, but you'll find them at a few spots. try them at Siam Center or Central Embassy, some of the smaller Thai menswear stores there carry them. if you want something more tailored, head to the weekend market at Chatuchak, there's a guy near section 7 who does custom pants for like 800-1200 baht, just bring a reference photo. otherwise, check out the outlets at Platinum Fashion Mall, they sometimes have knockoffs that look decent for the price

oh there's a spot called "carnival" on sukhumvit 63 that usually has a rack or two of them, mostly the classic khaki and olive styles, around 1000-1500 baht. also if you're ever up near ratchaprarop the tailor shops behind pantip plaza can knock out a pair for like 600 baht if you bring a picture, just ask for the double waistband

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
