Volleyball in Bangkok?

I'm going to be in Bangkok for a few weeks and wanted to know if there are any places with beach/indoor volleyball? I'd say I'm an intermediate/advanced player. if u wanna play with a mix of locals and expats, hit up the volleyball thailand whatsapp group instead of facebook, it's way more active for last-minute games. there's also a crew that plays indoor at the bangkok prep school gym in phra khanong on friday nights, pretty high level with some semi-pro thai players. just bring 150 baht for court fees and a towel, that place has no ac and it gets sweaty

flow house is good but if you want more competitive indoor, the thai-japanese sports complex on soi 26 has a solid group that plays tuesdays and thursdays around 7pm. costs like 100 baht to join, just show up and ask for the volleyball group. the level there is decent, some ex-college players and local thais who can really play. for beach, there's also a court at central world on the rooftop but it's more for show than actual pickup games

yeah there's a solid scene here. for beach volleyball check out the courts at flow house on sukhumvit 26, they've got sand and run pickup games most evenings. if you want indoor, the volleyball thailand facebook group is pretty active with posts about games around thong lor and ekamai. i'd bring your own kneepads for indoor though, some of the floors are rough

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
