I'm currently backpacking so have no fixed address to order online, so I need a physical store.
I've tried Watsons, Boots but they only have dark colours.
I'm after bright red, brands similar to Manic Panic

honestly if you're around Siam hit up the little shop on the 3rd floor of Siam Center called "B2S" - it's mostly stationery but they've got a hidden hair dye section in the back with some wild colors including a solid bright red. also there's a tiny place called Karma Kamet on Sukhumvit 38 that does all natural semi-permanent stuff, their red is super vibrant but it fades fast. for budget option the Big C on Ratchadamri has a section with imported Thai brands that aren't in the chains, saw a neon red there for like 80 baht last month
tbh you're prob not gonna find manic panic in a regular chain store here. check out Siam Square, there's a few indie beauty shops tucked in the soi that carry the wild colors. there's one called Beauty Bananza on the second floor of Siam Square One that had a decent selection of bright reds last time I was there. also worth hitting up Chatuchak market on the weekend, there's a stall in section 4 that sells semi-permanent dyes in every shade imaginable for like 150 baht a bottle
yeah you can find some at MBK Center, the korean beauty shops on the 4th floor have a bunch of bright shades. not manic panic but they work fine
best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026
yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
