yeah i know a few people who've done it. dr. boonchai at bangkok hospital is pretty well known for this, he does a lot of pediatric cases but takes adults too. the consultation is around 1500-2000 baht, and the procedure itself is usually 15-20k depending on laser vs scalpel. i'd skip bumrungrad for this one, they'll charge you double for the same thing.

honestly you might want to check out Dr. Nattapol at MedPark Hospital. he's an ENT who specializes in tethered oral tissues and does both kids and adults. his laser approach is pretty gentle, my friend had hers done there and was eating pad thai by day two. the consult was around 2k baht and the procedure ran about 16k. MedPark's not as central as Bumrungrad but the parking is way easier and the vibe is less hectic.

Dr. Somsak at Samitivej Sukhumvit does a lot of adult tongue-tie releases, not just kids. He uses a CO2 laser which means less swelling and you're back to eating soft food the same day. The consultation was about 2,500 baht and the procedure was 18,000 baht including the follow-up. I'd call ahead because his schedule fills up fast, especially on weekday mornings.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
