Where to buy Aqueous Cream in BKK?
Thanks in advance I have quite bad skin and can pretty much only use Aqueous cream (also called sorbolene), does anyone know where I can get some from? Tried a few pharmacies but no luck yet

tbh you might have better luck at the hospital pharmacies, Bumrungrad or Samitivej both have proper dermatology sections and they stock aqueous cream for sure. it's not cheap there though, like 300-400 baht for a tub
if u want the local version check out the pharmacy in Siam Square soi 2, it's this tiny place run by an older pharmacist who mixes stuff himself. he makes a basic sorbolene cream for like 80 baht and it's the same thing without the fancy packaging
Honestly the best bet is Boots in Siam Paragon or CentralWorld, they stock the UK brands like Oilatum and E45 which are pretty similar to aqueous cream. If you want the actual sorbolene stuff check the bigger Watsons around Sukhumvit, the one near Asok BTS often has it in the skincare section near the dermatology stuff. Fwiw I've seen it at Fascino pharmacy on Phaya Thai too, they have a decent range of imported creams
You can try the pharmacy inside the skin clinic at Bangkok Hospital, they stock the real aqueous cream from the UK, not the local imitations. It's about 350 baht for a 500ml tub and they don't always have it on the shelf so you might need to ask at the counter. If you're near Thonglor, the small pharmacy next to Villa Market on Soi 13 also carries it, they seem to get shipments every few weeks.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
