What is bar & clubbing scene like in Bangkok?

I am used to the typical pre-gaming with friends + hitting a night club for dancing type of activity. Pretty much the same routine you're used to, just with cheaper drinks and later hours. Most locals will start at a street food spot or a dive bar on Sukhumvit Soi 11 before moving to a club around midnight. If you want something different, try a speakeasy like Tropic City in Charoen Krung for a craft cocktail first, then walk to Sing Sing Theater for the dancing part. RCA stays open until 5 or 6 AM so you're not rushed.

yeah it's pretty much the same here tbh. thonglor and ekkamai have the fancier spots if u want bottle service vibes, but if u want something different try a rooftop bar first for the views then walk to a club after. tons of people do that instead of pregaming at home

its basically the same as what u described, pregame at someones condo or a cheap bar then hit up RCA or Thonglor for clubs. khao san is more touristy but still fun if u want a messier vibe

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
