yeah rama 9 range is solid but if u want something a bit more relaxed try the one out near bangna. it's called bangkok gun club or something similar, off bangna-trad road about 5km past the bit. they treat renters fine, no weird power tripping staff. last time i was there they had a cz scorpion and a ruger 10/22 for rent, which is perfect for a beginner. prices are around 800-1000 baht for a box of ammo plus gun rental, which is pretty standard. just bring your passport for the sign in.

if you're near thong lo there's a small indoor range called 9mm shooting that's less crowded than the big ones. they have a few ar-15s and a glock for rent, not super exciting but the staff actually know what they're doing. rental + ammo runs about 1200 baht for a session, bring your passport obviously. just call ahead cause they close early sometimes

hit up Bangkok shooting range down rama 9 road, it's pretty chill and they got decent semi-auto rifles for rent without all the tourist upcharge nonsense

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
