Best shop for dresses or cutw trendy clothes for girls in mbk?

Goinf on vacay :))) Goinf on vacay :)))

The girls' section on MBK's 3rd floor near the BTS skywalk entrance has a few stalls that aren't as picked over as the main aisles. I've found some nice linen sundresses there for around 350 baht, just check the stitching before you buy. If you want something a bit more polished for dinners, walk over to Siam Discovery, the basement level has a shop called Jaspal that does great cotton dresses for around 1,200 baht.

ngl the 6th floor at mbk is actually decent for bargain hunting if u dig through the piles, the stalls near the escalators have some hidden gems for like 200-400 baht. but if u want trendy without the hassle, the Siam Square area across the street has small shops like Matchbox or Senada with instagrammable dresses for around 600-800 baht, way better quality than mbk's tourist traps. also check out the weekend market at Chatuchak if u have time, section 2-4 has racks of new arrivals for like 150 baht each, just go early before it gets packed

honestly skip the main mall at mbk for trendy stuff, the prices are inflated for tourists. head to the 4th floor platinum fashion mall instead, it's a 10 min walk from mbk and way better for cut dresses under 500 baht. if u want smth more unique, try the krung thong plaza stalls on the 3rd floor, they have those flowy vacation pieces that look expensive but are like 300 baht. just bring cash and haggle a bit

best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
