Is 6.6K Baht cheap for Baiyoke Sky Tower 2?

honestly for a 4 day trip that's not bad but it really depends what you're looking for. Baiyoke Sky is kinda dated, the rooms are fine but nothing special, you're really paying for the view and location in Pratunam. 6.6k baht with airport transfer and breakfast is decent value compared to booking separately, airport taxi alone is like 500-600 baht one way if you use the official stand.

just a heads up, the breakfast buffet is in the rotating restaurant on the 82nd floor so that's pretty cool but the food itself is average. also Pratunam is super busy, lots of street food and shopping but traffic is a nightmare so factor that in if you plan to go anywhere else. if you want something more modern and central with similar pricing, check out hotels around Asok or Phloen Chit instead

For three nights with breakfast and airport pickup, 2,200 baht a night is reasonable. The breakfast buffet on the 82nd floor is the main draw, the view at sunrise is genuinely nice, but the food spread is standard hotel buffet stuff, nothing special.

The bigger question is what you want out of your hotel. Baiyoke Sky puts you in the middle of Pratunam's wholesale market scene, which means you're surrounded by clothing stalls and street vendors but also constant noise and narrow sidewalks. If you want more of a relaxed base, look at hotels along Sukhumvit near Nana or Asok BTS, you can find similar rates at places like the Grand President or Adelphi Suites that include breakfast and are steps from the skytrain.

Check if that airport transfer is one-way or roundtrip before booking. Most package deals only cover pickup, and the taxi back will run you around 500 baht with tolls.

ngl 6.6k for 3 nights with breakfast and a pickup is pretty solid, but that breakfast buffet is really just a bonus, not a reason to book. the real question is whether you're okay being stuck in Pratunam traffic hell, if you're planning to explore outside that area you'll spend a lot of time just getting out of the neighborhood. if you're cool with that, go for it

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
