During the day I sometimes go to meet ups or do my own hobbies, but I was wondering if people could recommend me places that are good for single guys to meet other singles. Nothing prostitution related or too party heavy like kaohsan since I don't drink and don't enjoy partying in general.

if you're into food, try a cooking class that runs in the evening. baipai in sukhumvit 53 does small groups and you're paired up at stations so chatting happens naturally around chopping and stirring. also those quiet soi cafes near ekkamai like roots or kaizen roast have a solo laptop crowd that's open to random chat if you just ask what they're listening to or reading

have you tried the climbing gyms? a lot of solo people there and you kinda have to talk to spot each other. urban play in on nut is usually pretty social and they do evening sessions. also those late night art spaces like warehouse 30 sometimes have openings where people just wander and chat, no pressure to drink

The board game cafes are a solid start. I'd also check out some of the live music spots that aren't bars, like Saxophone Pub near Victory Monument. They have tables with good sightlines to the stage so you can focus on the music if the conversation gets awkward, and people are usually happy to chat between sets if you want. The cover is around 200 baht and you can just order a soda or water.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
