Hey guys. I ever owned a race car driving experience business in France and wanted to open it in Bangkok.

I'm looking for a place where its possible to come drive a race car around Bangkok. I already know pattumthani speedway but they don't offer monthly pass. Only day pass at 2000b per day. It is too expensive to make a profit. Is there any other place with a track or an empty parking lot ?

Thank you.

You might want to check out Bira Circuit down in Pattaya, about an hour and a half from Bangkok. They have open track days and some guys negotiate monthly access directly with the management, not through their website. Also, there's a big empty lot near Suvarnabhumi airport off Romklao Road that a few drift groups use on weekends, but you'd need to ask around at local car meets to get the contact for that.

ngl the bang na-trakm13 spot is prob your best bet if u want something closer than pattaya. another option nobody mentioned is the old muang thong thani track near impact arena, they host some amateur racing clubs on sunday mornings and the guys there are pretty chill about sharing track time if you bring your own car. i think there's a facebook group called "bangkok track day" that posts open sessions there for like 800b per person

also if you're looking for empty lots, the soi 101/1 area near pudong junction has a massive abandoned depot that some supercar owners use for photoshoots but nobody races there officially. you'd need to get permission from the local sub-district office which is a pain but possible if you say it's for a private event

for monthly deals, talk to the staff at pattumthani directly not the front desk, sometimes they have unlisted packages for regulars. the 2000b day pass is just their public rate

honestly the parking lot scene is rough around here, most of the good ones are either patrolled or got developed into condos last year. there's a guy who runs a small track out near Bang Na-Trat km 13, it's tucked behind a big furniture warehouse. he lets people come on weekday evenings for like 500b a session and i think he does monthly deals if you talk to him directly, just show up around 6pm on a Tuesday and ask for "P'Bird" at the guard booth

also if you're serious about the business model, the Bira track has a membership option but it's more for motorcycles and you'd compete with the regular track day crowd. the empty industrial estate off Rama 2 road sometimes has space but you'd need to sweet talk the security guards with some iced tea or coffee

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
