if you're near sukhumvit, check out smith hair salon on soi 11. the owner's been cutting foreign hair for years and speaks perfect english. 500-800 baht for a basic cut and they do a solid job with clipper work

top floor of central embassy, the saloon. it's a proper barbershop not a salon, they do a clean two block and the staff speak english well. a bit pricier around 1200 baht but you're paying for the space and the service, they'll give you a whiskey while you wait

honestly i'd just walk into blacksmith on ekkamai soi 10, it's a proper barbershop not a salon. they do a solid two block without all the fuss, ask for p'boy he's been cutting farang hair for like a decade. 400 baht and they'll even sort your beard if you're growing one

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
