Anyone know how to get a Refund from a Siam songkran festival Wristband?

honestly you're prob stuck unless you go back to the actual wristband booth at the festival grounds. those casheers guys are famously bad with online refunds, I've heard this from a few people who went last year. if the event is still on you could try hitting up the main info tent near Siam Square, they sometimes process refunds on the spot if you have the band and your receipt. otherwise your best bet is to just find someone else still there and sell it to them for like 1500, that's what my friend ended up doing

Try posting on the Bangkok expat Facebook groups, I've seen people swap or sell leftover wristband credit there pretty quickly. Just mention the amount left and someone might take it off your hands for a discount.

if you still have the confirmation email from casheers, try emailing their support directly with "refund request" in the subject line. i got my money back last year after about a week of pestering them, but you have to be persistent cause they'll ignore u at first. otherwise check if any of the partner bars in the area are still accepting the band for drinks, some of them will let u use the balance after the festival ends if u go within a few days

best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
