You won't find them for 50 baht in the main tourist zones anymore. Try the night market at Saphan Phut on the Thonburi side, some stalls there still sell simple printed cotton pants for around 80-100 baht if you buy two. The 50 baht price was from before the pandemic and most of those factories shifted to making masks, so the wholesale cost went up.

honestly the 50 baht ones are basically a myth now, maybe try the weekend market at Chatuchak but even there you're looking at 100-150 minimum. prices just went up everywhere

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
