Bangkok Hospital on New Petchburi Road has an open MRI system, they keep it in their imaging center on the first floor of the main building. It's a bit less crowded than the Sukhumvit hospitals and you can usually get a same-day appointment if you call before 10am. The taxi ride from central Sukhumvit runs about 80-100 baht, just tell the driver "Bangkok Hospital" and they'll know where to go.

bumrungrad has one but you gotta ask specifically for the open mri when booking. they're on sukhumvit soi 3, pretty central. samitivej on sukhumvit 49 also has one but it's a bit more of a hassle to get to with the construction on that road rn. i'd call ahead to both and compare prices cause they vary a lot depending on which doctor you see

MedPark Hospital on Ratchadamri Road has one in their basement floor imaging section. It's a newer facility so the machine is pretty up to date and the wait times are usually shorter than the big international hospitals. Take the BTS to Ratchadamri station and it's a five minute walk through the park.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
