We've been looking for months but barely get any feedback or reply (LinkedIn, JobsDb)

honestly the job market for those roles in bangkok is tough right now, especially for foreigners without work permits already sorted. your friends might have better luck hitting up the hotels directly on Sukhumvit or Silom, a lot of them hire through walk-in applications or referrals from current staff. also tell them to check the Facebook groups like "Bangkok Expats Jobs" or "Jobs in Thailand for Foreigners", I've seen way more replies there than on LinkedIn for customer service gigs. for call centers, companies like Teleperformance and Concentrix have offices here but they usually want people already in the country with a visa, so that might be the wall they're hitting.

yeah the visa thing is usually the biggest blocker tbh. tell them to look into the "Bangkok Hotel Jobs" group on fb instead, I've seen way more posts from smaller hotels there that dont use linkedin at all. also a lot of the indonesian and philippine communities in bkk have their own line groups or whatsapp chats where jobs get passed around before theyre even posted publicly, might be worth asking around in those

fwiw i'd also check the indonesian embassy's facebook page in bangkok, they sometimes post job listings for their citizens. also tell them to make sure their thai language skills are decent, even basic stuff helps a ton in those roles

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
