The weather should be brutal that weekend, so anything indoors with AC is worth considering. There's a craft beer and vinyl pop-up at Warehouse 30 in Charoen Krung on the 20th, they usually have 40-50 baht pours and local DJs spinning Thai funk records. It runs from 2pm to 10pm, and the space has decent ventilation for a converted warehouse.
tbh the bigger thing that weekend is actually the bangkok design week closing parties, a lot of them fall around april 19-21 this year. some of the warehouse venues in charoen krung have pop-up markets with live music and local artists, way more interesting than the khaosan scene. just check their ig for exact times since they announce last minute
honestly 420 isn't really a big thing in bangkok like in the west. there's a small cannabis festival at khaosan road but it's mostly tourists and overpriced weed. if you want something more chill, check out the weed market at rca (royal city avenue) on saturdays, that's closer to actual 420 vibes

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
