Hey guys, I'm taking a solo trip in Bangkok , where do you go to meet other solo travelers?

I'm in an apartment and normally a bit introverted so it's a bit difficult for me to meet and engage with new people but I am trying to go out of my comfort zone a bit. Any help would be appreciated… I'm in an apartment and normally a bit introverted so it's a bit difficult for me to meet and engage with new people but I am trying to go out of my comfort zone a bit. honestly Khao San Road gets a bad rep but its actually perfect for what you're looking for. the street vendors and little bars along the side sois are super easy to just sit at and people watch, someone will prob strike up a conversation with you within 5 minutes. i'd say avoid the big clubs on the main strip and find a smaller spot like The Club on Soi Rambuttri, way chiller vibe for an introvert trying to ease into things

if you're not a hostel person, try a coworking space during the day like Hatch on Sathorn. lots of digital nomads and travelers working there, super easy to just say hi at the coffee counter. then at night, some of them organize casual meetups at nearby bars like Tropic City, way more low-key than hitting Khao San alone

Probably easier to start small like a hostel bar even if you're not staying there. Less pressure than a big club.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
