Anybody know of a good men's stylist in Thailand or Bangkok?

My friends often tell me I can't dress well to save my life. When I ask them for advice they ignore me or tell me to follow Korean IG profiles.

So I think it's best to go to a professional. Stylist are common in New York , where I'm from, but since I'm in Thailand it wouldn't make sense to go abroad and do zoom calls with a stylist. As I think in person consultations are the best approach.

You can dm me or leave a comment on where to look.

Try going to Siam Square soi 2 and look for a shop called Gin & Tonic. The owner, Pete, used to do personal styling for GQ Thailand before opening his own place. He'll do a full wardrobe audit with you if you book ahead, and he's honest about what works for your body type rather than just pushing trends. His rate is around 1500 baht for an hour consult, which is reasonable for Bangkok.

ngl those are solid recs already but if you want a different vibe check out a guy named Arm at The Vintage Strategy near Ari BTS. he's less of a classic stylist and more of a personal shopper who sources vintage and deadstock pieces from the weekend markets like Chatuchak and Sapan Khwai. his thing is making you look unique without spending designer prices, think 500-800 baht per piece. he'll take you around if you book a half day with him, just slide into his DMs on IG at thevintagestrategy_bkk. fair warning tho his style leans a bit retro so if you want clean minimalist looks maybe stick with the other recs

There's a guy named Golf who runs a small studio called Tailor of Men near Thong Lo BTS, exit 3. He's less about telling you what to buy and more about teaching you how to build a capsule wardrobe from what you already own, which might be what you need if you're starting from scratch. His English is solid and he charges around 2000 baht for a 90 minute session, but he'll give you a list of specific shops and markets in Bangkok to hit up afterward. Book a few days ahead through his Line account, it's the same name as the studio.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
