I want to study at Sandee Thai Language School, The research that I have been able to find shows a student visa can only go for 90 days. Ideally, I want to take the 12 month course for level 1, 2 and 3. Approximately. 460 hours. Is there any advice that a
honestly 460 hours over 12 months is pretty chill, like 10-12 hours a week which leaves you tons of time to actually enjoy bangkok. sandee is in siam square so you're right in the middle of everything, grab khao soi at the food court in the basement of siam paragon after class for like 80 baht. the ed visa extension thing is standard but just factor in that 1900 baht fee every 90 days and maybe a morning wasted at chaeng wattana immigration if you do it yourself, ask sandee if they offer a courier service for that
a few things to know. sandee is a legit school but the 90 day thing is standard for all thai ed visas, you just extend it every 90 days at immigration for 1900 baht. some schools do the extensions for you, others make you do it yourself, definitely ask sandee about that before you sign up. also worth checking if they offer the multi-entry permit option, it costs more but lets you leave and come back without losing your visa status, handy if you plan any trips home or to vietnam for a weekend
