Does anyone have recommendations on esims? My phone doesn't take a physical SIM card just looking for a affordable E-sim option

arrow_drop_up -2 arrow_drop_down

if ur phone supports esim then dtac's tourist esim is worth a look too, 299 baht for 8 days with 15gb then unlimited at 1mbps. i've used it around thong lo and siam without issues. just download the app before u land and scan the qr code they send u

AIS and TrueMove both have eSIM options in their apps, but I'd go with TrueMove if you're staying inside Bangkok since their coverage is more consistent in the city. The tourist eSIM is around 350 baht for 8 days with unlimited data, though speeds drop after 15GB. Just make sure you activate it before you leave Suvarnabhumi because the airport WiFi is terrible for downloading the profile.

honestly just grab an AIS e-sim from their app, it's like 300 baht for 15 days and works fine. i think they have a tourist pack or just top up as u go

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
