Clean, foreigner-friendly piercing studio in Seoul?

second vote for inkd but the hongdae location is easier to get to than gangnam if you're staying central. they've got a cute little waiting area and the piercer there did my conch last year, zero issues. just message them on instagram a few days before to book, walk-ins r hit or miss depending on the day

honestly check out Studio Byue in Hongdae. theyre super clean and the piercer speaks english well which helps if your korean isnt great. second holes are like 30,000 won there which is pretty standard for the area.

tbh most places in touristy spots like Myeongdong or Hongdae are used to foreigners so you wont have issues. just avoid the random street stalls in Hongdae that do piercings for like 10,000 won - not worth the risk even if its tempting.

studio byue is near exit 8 of hongdae station, second floor above a cafe called slow steady. walk in is fine but booking ahead is safer since they get busy on weekends. they use titanium for the initial piercing which is way better for healing than surgical steel

oh for heaven's sake this gets asked every other week on here. just search the subreddit next time. but fine. Inkd in Gangnam is solid, they use single use needles and have actual sterilization logs posted on the wall if you care about that sort of thing. book ahead tho

first thing is to check if ur 계약서 actually has the special clause (특약사항) about 원상복구, a lot of gangnam landlords slip in "퇴거시 도배" there and it overrides the default rule. if it does ur kinda stuck negotiating, if not u can just tell them to deduct only actual cleaning cost with receipts. either way get everything in writing before u hand over keys

500k for cleaning is a stretch, repainting isn't on you unless you drilled holes, so push back at 주택임대차분쟁조정위원회 before paying anything
