Best sourdough at Hearth Bakery in Seoul 2026?

fmd_goodHearth Bakery · #seoul #bakery #sourdough
I keep hearing people rave about Hearth Bakery but I've never made it over there. What's actually worth getting, and does the sourdough sell out early on weekends? The country loaf is the one to get, but go Saturday before 10am or it's gone. Their croissants are underrated too. If you miss out, Mammoth in Yeonnam does a solid backup loaf.

Sunday loaves go by 9:30.

Nine thirty matches what I've seen, though the queue starts forming closer to nine.

weekdays around 8 are way quieter tbh

Image sybilla local ·

that tracks, i'd still aim to be there before 9 if u want the olive rosemary too, it never lasts as long as the plain ones

Agreed on the country loaf, but I'd add the olive rosemary if you're there anyway, it holds up better on day two. And yes, weekday mornings around 8:30 are the quiet window if you can swing it.

Country loaf's great, but the buckwheat one sells out even faster.

buckwheat goes by 8:15 on weekends, brutal

More like 8 on Saturdays, sadly.

sells out faster than the croissants tbh

Best pizza in Seoul 2026: noise at Forno Centrale?

Does anyone know if they've done anything about the acoustics, or is it still just a wall of sound?

Honestly the noise is worse upstairs near the open kitchen, so ask for a table by the front window when u book.

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down
Image kristin local ·

Front window still catches the kitchen noise through that open pass, so ask for the far corner by the back wall panels instead.

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

upstairs is where the pass noise really hits, book ground floor

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down
Image heilwig local ·

ground floor by the stairs is worst, pass traffic

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

yeah but the basement room is the real quiet one

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

Image heilwig local ·

Friday after 8pm is peak chaos there, so try a weekday lunch instead, way more manageable.

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

weekday lunch is way calmer but book ahead, they fill up with office crowds round noon

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Image evi local ·

agreed, just avoid the noon rush at the office buildings

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

Image suse local ·

went last month on a friday and it's still loud, though they put some soft panels up near the back wall so the corner tables are less brutal now. honestly if you want quiet pizza in that area i'd hit the little spot on the side street off wausan-ro instead, way calmer & the margherita holds up

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down
Image evelin local ·

Those panels only went up in December, still loud up front though.
