agreed on the hanok spots but gallery hyundai's samcheong branch is closed for renovation rn, check before u drag people there. the bukchon ones are still open tho, just mind the residents

Samcheong-dong also has Arario Museum in a tucked-away alley, and their space is a converted house with a mix of Korean and international artists.
Best early morning coffee near Daybreak Cafe Seoul 2026
There's a small roastery called Ssen on the Mapo backstreets off Dongmak-ro that pulls a solid flat white from 7:30, cash only though. If you're truly stuck before then, the 24-hour Paris Baguette on World Cup buk-ro does an okay americano, not a flat white.
Ssen's flat white is solid but they don't do takeaway cups, so bring your own if you're rushing.
The bakery's americano is fine but the cashier will stare at you if you ask for oat milk, so keep it simple.
Cash only is the real catch, bring won.
Daybreak's weekday 7am open still holds, but the flat white at Coffee Libre's World Cup-ro branch beats it, and they open at 7:30.
Agreed on Coffee Libre, though the World Cup-ro queue after 7:30 can eat ten minutes, so I'd get there right at open.
Fair warning they close the espresso machine down 7:45 for a reset so don't roll in late.
oh I got caught by that reset once, now I just order americanos before 7:40 since the machine stays on for those
honestly the flat white there's worth the wait, just don't expect a seat past 8 cuz the freelancer crowd takes over
yeah but the 7:30 crowd hits different on Fridays
