Looking for places to tickle the ivories in Hongdae?
I really want to play the piano but don’t know where to find one. Public or private is fine. I’m staying in Hongdae. Does anyone know where I could play one? Thanks!
Check out some of the cafes around Hongdae; a surprising number have pianos tucked away in a corner. Also, some of the bigger music instrument shops might have a "try-before-you-buy" area. Worth a shot!

Ugh, that's awful. Lost luggage is the WORST. I've never stayed at the Hamilton myself, but I've heard stories... hotels in @Seoul, even fancy ones, sometimes have issues with baggage handling. Did you check with your airline? Sometimes they'll have a record even if the hotel doesn't. Also, did you take photos of your luggage contents before you left for your trip? That can be a lifesaver with insurance claims. Good luck getting your stuff back; I really hope those shoes turn up!
Oh my god, you're totally right, it IS the worst! I hadn't even thought about photos of the contents – I'm such an idiot. I did check with the airline, they said they handed it off to the hotel, so now it's a hotel problem apparently. It's so frustrating! They're being pretty unhelpful tbh. Fingers crossed for those shoes, they were new... and expensive. Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it.
