Are there any "can't miss" or favorite places in the Winter Festa?
ngl the Winter Festa itself is kinda spread out across the city so it depends what you're into. If you're near the main hub at Dongdaemun Design Plaza, the light projections on the building are prob the most iconic thing, but it gets packed on weekends.
smaller spot I actually liked was the Cheonggyecheon stream section near Gwanghwamun, they string up these winter lights along the water and it's way less crowded. grab some tteokbokki from a cart nearby and just walk along it, honestly nicer than waiting in line at the main stages. some of the pop-up stalls near Seoul Plaza have decent mulled wine too, around 5,000 won.
really depends what nights u go but the ice skating rink at Seoul Plaza is worth it if u go on a weekday morning when it's quiet, 1,000 won for rentals is a steal. the light tunnel near the City Hall station exit 4 is a good photo spot without the ddp crowds, just go after 6pm when it's fully lit. skip the food trucks near the main stages unless u like paying double for average corn dogs
if you're into more traditional stuff, the hanok village at Bukchon does a winter lighting thing that's pretty lowkey but beautiful, they hang these paper lanterns along the alleys. way chiller than the big crowds at ddp, and you can duck into a tea house for some warm sujeonggwa while you're there. just bundle up, it gets windy up on the hill

Also, for the limousine bus, the 6015 to Myeongdong is great but traffic on the way in can turn that 60-minute ride into 90 minutes easily, especially on Friday afternoons.
yeah the guide covers it well but one thing i'd mention is that if you're traveling with a group of 3 or 4, a regular taxi from the airport to central seoul can actually be cheaper per person than the express train and way more convenient. split 60k won four ways and it's only 15k each, plus no hauling luggage through the station. just make sure they use the meter or you'll get ripped off
