Oof, that sounds frustrating! Nodeulseom is beautiful, but yeah, the food scene around tourist spots can be… underwhelming. Try heading towards the Yeouido area. It's not far from the island and has tons of smaller, less flashy restaurants packed with locals during lunch rushes. You'll find way better bibimbap there – look for places that are busy with office workers; they usually know their stuff. Good luck and happy eating!
