Suggestions for easy relaxed things to do on Sunday afternoon?

I'm feeling tired today after packing in A LOT in the first two days. Don't feel like shopping today. Any suggestions? I'm staying in Jongno I'm feeling tired today after packing in A LOT in the first two days. Don't feel like shopping today. Any suggestions? I'm staying in Jongno

Head to Marronnier Park near your area, it's a small park that's usually quiet on Sunday afternoons. You can sit on a bench and watch the older guys playing paduk or chess under the trees, it's oddly calming. There's a decent little cafe called Cafe Mignon just across from the park entrance, their yuja tea is good and they don't rush you. If you want even less effort, just walk up to the back gate of Gyeongbokgung and follow the stone wall path north, it's mostly shaded and has benches every few hundred meters.

If you're in Jongno and feeling tired, I'd suggest walking over to Samcheong-dong and finding a quiet tea house along the main street or one of the side alleys. The vibe there is much slower than Insadong and you can just sit by a window and watch people without having to do anything. Another option is to take a slow stroll around the grounds of Changdeokgung's rear garden area, the Huwon, you don't need a full tour ticket to enjoy the peaceful paths near the entrance. Grab a cup of sikhye or sujeonggwa from a small shop on the way back, they're both cold and refreshing.

Coming from Haebangchon, take line 6 to Itaewon then walk up, taxi is only like 6,000 won though. Skip the scones honestly, they're dry. Order the first flush darjeeling a la carte and a slice of their matcha roll.
