Could u say is it legal, and should I have a permission, how can I get it? Thanks!

honestly the legal side is pretty loose here compared to other cities. for hongdae and hongik station area you're fine without a permit as long as you're not blocking the street or using a huge amp. but if you want to busk in places like myeongdong or gangnam station they might tell you to register at the local gu office first, it's a simple form and free though. the main thing is noise complaints after 10pm, that's when neighbors start calling the cops. also if you're doing magic or something with fire or props you prob need to check with the district office beforehand, they're stricter about safety stuff. just go to hongdae around 4pm on a weekday and watch how the regulars set up, they'll give you the real scoop on which exact spots are open that night

yeah you can busk in seoul but it depends where. hongdae, hongik uni station area around exit 8 and 9, that's the main busking zone and you don't need a permit for most spots there, just show up early and claim your space. insadong and myeongdong are trickier, they sometimes require you to register with the local district office or gu office, especially if you're using any amplification. i'd head to the hongdae busking street around 5pm on a weekday to scope it out first, the regulars there are pretty chill and can tell you which exact spots are free for the evening slot. bring a small setup too, the police don't bother you unless you're blocking the sidewalk or being too loud past 10pm

just to add, if you're using any kind of amp or speaker you should register with the local gu office anyway even in hongdae. most people skip it but technically they can fine u if someone complains. also september can be rainy so bring a tarp or umbrella for your gear.

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
