Where can I find flag souvenirs?

Like a pin or stickers of the South Korean flag. I'm staying in Seoul, it's my favourite flag all I've been able to find so far is a beanie Like a pin or stickers of the South Korean flag. I'm staying in Seoul, it's my favourite flag all I've been able to find so far is a beanie

You could check out the souvenir floor at the COEX Mall in Gangnam. It's inside the Starfield Library building, there's a shop called K-Souvenir that stocks all sorts of flag items including fridge magnets, keychains, and those little embroidered patches sewn onto caps. They have a display case by the counter with 태극기 pins in different sizes, around 4,000 won each.

honestly if you're near hongdae check out the little alley behind the main street where all the vintage shops are. there's this tiny booth run by an ajumma who sells handmade patches and pins, she had a whole row of 태극기 patches in different sizes last time i was there. way better quality than the mass produced stuff at daiso imo, and she'll throw in a free sticker if you buy more than one

Head to Insadong, there's a little shop called Ssamziegil that has a bunch of small vendors on each floor. You'll find tiny 태극기 pins and sticker sheets there for around 3,000 to 5,000 won. The Namdaemun market also has a few stationary stalls near the main gate that sell flag patches if you want something for a bag or jacket.

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
