**🏺 Local Pottery** Bagshot's clay-rich soil has supported a small pottery tradition for centuries. Visit the Bagshot Pottery Studio on High Street, where you can buy hand-thrown mugs and vases from £25 to £60. The studio is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm, and offers a glimpse into a craft that dates back to the 1700s. **🍯 Heather Honey** The surrounding Surrey heathlands produce a distinctive heather honey, harvested by local beekeepers. Pick up a jar at the Bagshot Farmers' Market, held on the first Saturday of each month in the Village Hall car park, for around £8. This honey has a rich, slightly woody flavor that reflects the area's unique flora. **📚 Antique Books** Bagshot has a long history as a coaching stop, and its antique shops often carry old travel guides and local history books. The Old Bookshop on Guildford Road specializes in Surrey-related titles, with prices from £10 to £50. These make thoughtful souvenirs for anyone interested in the area's past. **🧶 Handwoven Textiles** A small cooperative of weavers operates out of the Bagshot Craft Centre, creating scarves and throws using traditional patterns. You can find these at the Craft Centre's shop, open daily from 11am to 4pm, with prices ranging from £30 to £80. The patterns are inspired by the geometric designs found in local Victorian architecture. **🍰 Bagshot Biscuits** These buttery shortbread biscuits, flavored with a hint of lemon, have been a local specialty since the 19th century. The original recipe is still used by the Bagshot Bakery on Station Road, where a box of six costs £6.50. They were reportedly a favorite of Queen Victoria, who often passed through Bagshot on her way to Windsor. **🌿 Herbal Remedies** The village's long association with herbal medicine is celebrated at the Bagshot Apothecary, a modern shop that sells traditional tinctures and salves. Small bottles of lavender or chamomile remedies cost between £8 and £15. These are made using herbs gathered from the local heath, continuing a practice that dates back to the 1600s. **🎨 Local Art Prints** Several artists capture Bagshot's charming streets and heathland in watercolor and ink. The Bagshot Gallery on Park Street sells limited-edition prints for £20 to £45, with originals available for higher prices. These prints offer a lasting visual memory of the village's character. **🕰️ Vintage Maps** Reproductions of historical maps of Bagshot and the surrounding area are available at the Bagshot Heritage Centre, open weekends from 2pm to 5pm. Prices start at £12 for a folded map, and £30 for a framed version. These maps show how the village evolved from a small coaching stop to a modern community.
