Will there continue to be pro-impeachment demonstrations in the coming days? And if so, where?

Question

I know he's already been « impeached » technically although there's a 6-month process ahead. Will there continue to be public protests or demonstrations these coming days? And if so, where in Seoul and when?

I know foreigners can't partake and I don't plan to do so, I'm just curious.

Hard to say for sure. Keep an eye on local news and social media for announcements. Protests are pretty common in Seoul, so it's not impossible.

you're right that the impeachment vote itself passed, but the constitutional court's review is what actually decides if he's removed. the rallies have definitely died down from the peak weeks but you'll still see smaller groups near gwanghwamun square on weekends, especially saturdays around 2-4pm. the crowds are way smaller now, maybe a few hundred instead of tens of thousands, and they're usually split between pro and anti impeachment folks on opposite sides of the square. if you want to just observe from a distance, the starbucks near gwanghwamun station exit 4 has a good view without being in the middle of it

Yeah, there's usually something going on near Gwanghwamun Square or the Cheonggyecheon area if there's political stuff happening. I'd just check Naver or Twitter to see if any groups are rallying later this week.
