Niche kpop albums in Seoul?

Question

Im staying in Seoul for the next two weeks and wanted to purchase some lesser known albums, but no kpop stores in Myeong-dong carry any of them. Are there bigger stores somewhere else or maybe stores known for carrying such albums? Groups that I'm looking for are for example Waker and OnePact.

Thank You!

Hit up the underground shops at Jongno 5-ga station, near the Jongno Tower exit. There are a couple of older sellers there that don't bother with BTS or Blackpink posters, they just stock whatever comes in from smaller distributors. I picked up a mint condition album from a group called Blitzers there last year, which is similar to Waker's level of obscurity.

Also worth checking the CD section at Aladdin used bookstores, specifically the one in Cheongnyangni. They get trade-ins from collectors and sometimes have niche stuff that's out of print. The Myeongdong location is too picked over, but the branch near the station has a deeper inventory.

honestly skip the tourist spots and head to the underground shopping arcade at Gangnam Station. there's a small shop called Music Korea there that stocks a lot of the smaller agency groups, saw some Cravity and Drippin stuff last time which is kinda in that same tier as Waker and OnePact. also check out the Kyobo Bookstore in Gwanghwamun, their music section has a surprising amount of niche albums mixed in with the popular ones, just gotta dig through the shelves a bit

if ur willing to trek a bit, head to the basement level of the Lotte Department Store in Jamsil. there's a record shop called Soundwave that's way less picked over than the Myeongdong ones. also check out the underground shops at Sinnonhyeon Station, exit 4 leads to a small corridor with a couple indie kpop sellers that stock stuff from smaller labels like Waker's agency. one of them even had a signed OnePact album last winter, so they might still have some stock

yeah Myeongdong is mostly just big mainstream stuff. try going to Hongdae or the underground shops at Express Bus Terminal, they usually have more niche stuff. there's also a spot near Gwangjang Market called K-Star that carries random nugu groups sometimes
