Where is a beachvolleyball court to play around Seoul?

Question

anikageyer · Answer

You're not going to find proper beach volleyball courts right in central Seoul. The closest option is at Ttukseom Han River Park, near the swimming pool area. They set up sand courts in the summer months, usually from June through August. If you're looking for year-round play, you'd need to head out to Jamsil Sports Complex or some of the bigger sports centers in the suburbs like Ilsan or Bundang.

honestly just check out Mangwon Han River Park, there's a volleyball net setup on the sand near the camping area. it's not like a full official court or anything but people play there all the time, especially on weekends

if you've got a car or don't mind a bit of a trip, there's actually a proper beach volleyball court at seonyudo park on the island in the han. it's part of the sports complex there, sand's decent and it's usually not packed like the ttukseom ones. just check if they're doing maintenance first, sometimes they close it off for events
